Dr. Hasan Alfaify, a faculty member at King Saud University (KSU), Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. My specialization is Arabic literature and criticism, with a focus on international travel writing. I completed my PhD in the United Kingdom, receiving my degree from the University of Leeds in 2014.
I have been an Assistant Professor in the Department of Arabic Language and Literature at King Saud University since 2014. My publications include:
1. My PhD dissertation, "The Image of (The Other) in Arabic Travel Writing in the 17th Century AD".
2. A published article titled: "The Arab Woman in the Mirror of the English Woman: Writings of the Travelers Anne Blunt and Freya Stark about the Arabian Peninsula".

Harishma A. Gireesh is a Doctoral Research Scholar in the Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at the National Institute of Technology, Warangal. She holds an MA in English and Comparative Literature and completed her MPhil with a focus on Trans narratives and ageing. Her doctoral research is situated within Age Studies, with particular emphasis on ageing narratives in celebrity memoirs and the intersections of illness, gender, and later-life writing. Her research engages critically with contemporary debates on ageism, gendered ageing, and cultural constructions of later life. She has published scholarly articles and book reviews in reputed academic journals, including SAGE publications, with particular interest in memoirs that explore illness, vulnerability, and ageing. She is currently preparing a research article for the forthcoming Palgrave edited volume New Imaginaries of Ageing: Confronting Ageism and Sexism. In addition to her research, she has presented her work at several international conferences and actively contributes to scholarly discussions through reviewing and engaging with emerging debates in Age Studies and literary humanities. Susanna Michelle Kolbe (Michelle) is currently a grade 8 classroom teacher in Manitoba, Canada and a third year EdD student at Western University. Michelle's professional teaching career has 25 years of experience, including German language instruction, a Past President of the Manitoba Teachers of German, a former small school principal, English as an Additional Language teacher/coordinator and Indigenous education representative for her local union association (current).
Her hobbies include outdoor recreation such as cross country skiing, snowshoeing and hiking. One of her best memories is hiking Ireland's Kerry Way. Michelle's interests also span from camping in Canada's wilderness to new pursuits and interests that are presented such as attending music festivals, art exhibits and theatre productions.
